On Saturday, we went to the Beech Mountain Cliff Trail and explored farther than Mama Bear did with the group from church on Friday. We had so much fun! We went to the parking area on Beech Hill Road and walked up the gentle trail, and then did one of the loops at the top to see some wonderful views out to the Duck Islands and in to Somes Sound. We returned to the car by going out towards Canada Cliffs and then on the Valley Trail. Along the way in and out we saw some interesting rocks, moss, and some beautiful fungi.
